SAN IGNACIO / SANTA ELENA
We are excited to say Calvary Apostolic Church in San Ignacio, Belize is now established! Through much prayer & fasting the church is in the making and we are praying that God will add souls to the Kingdom and give the increase.
Even in an area saturated with churches of all kinds, there is a genuine cry of hunger for Biblical Truth and a lasting Holy Ghost experience. This observation is evidenced by many people that we have already encountered. In this kind of atmosphere, with the help of the Lord we will see revival!
San Ignacio/Santa Elena is located in the Cayo district of Belize. With San Ignacio & Santa Elana being recognized as the twin cities. The two neighbors are only divided by a large river named the “ Macal River”. These two cities have a population of about 28,000. With a great mission ahead we are placing all in the Lord’s hands and seeking his will. We are excited for Revival!
The Courville Family
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed: and how shall the believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?...” Romans 10:14-15
The Courville family are excited and honored to be working full time in God’s harvest by preaching, teaching, and living the Word of God in San Ignacio, Belize. The decision to move their family to San Ignacio was not a light one, but one made after much prayer, fasting, and seeking council. After this season of seeking, God began to confirm His calling in various ways and led the Courvilles to San Ignacio, Belize.

what we
believe
The Bible:
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God (ll Timothy 3:16) and is not up for private interpretation for it was inspired by the Holy Ghost (ll Peter 1:19-21). The doctrine of men will not stand the test of eternity, but God’s Word will stand forever (Matthew 24:35). It is by this Word that we will be judged, (John 12:48). Blessed are they which hear God’s Word and keep it (Luke 11:28).
God:
We believe in God, who is absolutely and indivisibly one (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:11). We believe that God is a invisible Spirit (John 4:24, I Timothy 1:17). We believe that God is fully revealed to us in Jesus Christ (I Timothy 3:16, Matthew 1:21-23, II Corinthians 5:19). Jesus Christ is the fulness of God manifest in the flesh (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9)
Salvation:
We believe that we are saved by the grace of God through our faith (Ephesians 2:8) which is shown by our obedience to the Gospel (John 3:5, Acts 2:38) of Christ. (Hebrews 5:9, 1 Peter 4:17, James 2:20). We believe that every person is born a sinner (Psalm 51:5, Romans 5:12), and that in order to be saved, we must repent (Matt 4:17), which is to confess and forsake our sinful lifestyle (Proverbs 28:13, Romans 6:1-2, 1 John 1:9). We believe in the necessity of water baptism by invoking the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:41, Acts 8:12, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5). We believe in the miraculous, spiritual experience of receiving the gift of Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (John 7:37-39, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6 Romans 8:9-11).
The Church Service:
We believe that Christians should faithfully and consistently assemble together (Acts 2:42-46, Hebrews 10:25). We believe in fervent praise and sincere worship (Psalm 150, John 4:24). We believe in the power of preaching to save those who will believe
(I Corinthians 1:21, Hebrews 4:2).
The Great Commission:
We believe the gospel has power to save every person who will believe and obey (Romans 1:16, John 1:12-13, Revelation 21:6). We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to participate as witnesses and laborers in the spreading of the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20,
Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-49, Acts 1:8).
